CinevisualFX artists worked on multiple shots and created a photorealistic convincing sequence of a car crash using computer-generated imagery (CGI).

CinevisualFX Family is proud to announce that we worked on one of the exciting upcoming Christmas
theatrical releases- 2023 “Silent Night”. An upcoming American action thriller film directed by legendary
and one of the acclaimed action directors of all time John Woo and the producer of John Wick.

CinevisualFX artists skillfully crafted a realistic computer-generated imagery (CGI) sequence depicting a car
crash, necessitated by the impossibility of capturing it on film. The challenge involved seamlessly
integrating the CGI into pre-existing shots to maintain visual continuity. The entire street where the car
sequence unfolded was meticulously recreated in Maya, encompassing all 3D elements such as the car,
scaffolding, and the road. The composition was refined using Nuke, while Houdini was employed for
elemental effects like dust, water, smoke, and debris. The primary artistic goal was to ensure that the CGI
scene appeared authentic rather than computer-generated, presenting a creative challenge that the team
successfully navigated.

Our team has poured their passion and creativity into the creation of "Silent Night" a project that
embodies the essence of thrill, life and vengeful action.
